Realtor Food Bank Challenge

Engel and Völkers, Pemberton Holmes and The Agency will be collecting cash and food donations from November 21 to December 3 to support the region’s food banks. The amount raised during the Challenge contributes to the Oak Bay Village amount raised for the convoy.

Donations can be dropped at any participating agency and support Oak Bay Village's contribution to the Truck Light Convoy totals.

The donations will be totalled at 11 AM on December 4 behind Oak Bay Pharmasave. Join us to see who who will be the 2022 Realtor Food Bank Challenge Champion!

20th Oak Bay Light Up

The Oak Bay Light Up is returning after a two year break. We are excited to present the 20th anniversary of this community event.

2 PM Family fun with a variety of crafts, activities, street food and entertainment. The Kiwanis Club of Oak Bay is hosting a Letters to Santa letter writing and decorating station including a special direct-to-the-North-Pole mail box at the station. Plus activities and street hockey with Oak Bay Recreation.

Christmas crafts include making  mini door swag with Oak Bay Flower Shop.

Planet Janet's hoop jam give attendees an opportunity to try hula hooping, learning the basics or trying new tricks. And Paul Kilshaw will be performing magic and balloon twisting in the spirit of the season.

3PM Live music with Daniel Lapp and special guests.

The afternoon will feature performances by Sóley Ella May, Jeanne Tolmie, Stephanie Greaves, Roy Styffe, Bryce Gilhome, Kelly Nordstrom, Danuel Tate, Jamie Troy, the Joy of Life Choir, The Oak Bay High Vocal Jazz Choir, the Whoville Children’s Chorus (making a debut performance) and 11 year old BC Fiddle Champion, Max Francis.

5PM The lights come on! Santa will arrive on an Oak Bay Fire Truck to spread some Christmas cheer and to stay for photos and to hear Christmas wishes. Santa Photos in Engel and Völkers office (2249 Oak Bay Avenue). Photo donations support the Oak Bay Fire Department nonessential equipment fund.

Food trucks in attendance include Saltchuck Pie Company, Snap Dawgs Mobile Doggery and Holy Cow Mini Donuts.
