Oak Bay Christmas Festival

The Oak Bay Christmas Festival kicks off the last Sunday in November with the Christmas Festival Light Up.

Family activities start at 2 PM with a bouncy castle, street games, craft stations and lighted trucks.

Onstage entertainment begins at 3 PM. Plus roasted chestnuts, Canada Post collecting letters to Santa and thousands of lights on buildings, trees and lampposts throughout the Village, Light Up celebrates the start of the festive season in Oak Bay Village. Santa Claus arrives oon an Oak Bay Fire Truck to really get things started!

There are a variety of other events during the Christmas Festival. During the Art on the Avenue Gallery Walk on the last Thursday in November, shops and galleries open for evening browsing tasting, and to welcome friends and neighbours for a bit of Oak Bay Village hospitality. Artists are in attendance at galleries and pop up galleries throughout the Village

On the first Saturday of December the Island Equipment Owners Association Parade of Lighted Trucks, featuring over 80 brightly lit cement trucks, dump trucks and other heavy equipment comes through Oak Bay Village.
